Managing car sickness
It’s that time of year for road trips! But, if your child suffers from car sickness, a road trip can be no fun.
However, there are things to do to help them feel better! Try these tips to manage:
Keep your child looking out the window.
Improve ventilation.
Try acupressure bands.
Use dramamine in kids ages 2-12 years (if your child is over 12, you can try the non-drowsy version).
Treat associated nausea with ginger.
Take frequent breaks.
With some preparation, you can minimize the symptoms of car sickness, and be on your way!
Happy traveling!!
